The Parco Zoo Punta Verde is laid out over a flat area and therefore does not present obstacles for those with reduced mobility. However, some areas have a slope that could make access difficult, particularly for people in wheelchairs if not assisted by a companion. These areas are highlighted with a red line on the downloadable map. <\/p>

Disabled toilets are available at the entrance and near the reptile house.<\/p>

Disabled parking spaces are available in the main car park.<\/b>
<\/span>Access to the Zoo’s entrance ramp is restricted by a hydraulic bollard which can be lowered by an intercom call for access for people with reduced mobility.<\/span><\/p>

Picnic areas with priority for those with reduced mobility are marked by signs on the tables themselves.<\/p>

If there are queues at the ticket office, special signs permit those with reduced mobility to go to the front of the queue.<\/p>

Wheelchairs can be hired from the Zoovenir shop at a cost of \u20ac5.00, and can be booked by phone or email. <\/p>

Questa borsa contiene alcuni oggetti utili a supportare il rilassamento e l\u2019attenzione dei visitatori ed \u00e8 stata sviluppata in collaborazione con la Fondazione Progettoautismo FVG. Il Parco Zoo Punta Verde ha aderito al progetto nato dalla sinergia tra PromoTurismoFVG<\/b> e la Consulta Regionale delle Persone con Disabilit\u00e0<\/b> e delle loro Famiglie del Friuli Venezia Giulia<\/b> che si propone come obiettivo principale l\u2019implementazione dell\u2019accessibilit\u00e0 dell\u2019offerta turistica regionale promuovendo anche l\u2019identificazione e il superamento delle barriere, non solo architettoniche o sensoriali, ma anche informative e culturali.<\/p>
