The closest railway station is in Latisana; there is a bus service from the station to Lignano.
Get off the bus at the Chiaruttini stop (the nearest to the Zoo around 2.5 km away) and take the A2 urban bus route from the bus stop on the other side of the road; this route is in service from June to mid-September and stops at the Zoo’s car park. From June to September there is an urban bus service from Lignano and a suburban service from Bibione, operated by TPL FVG.
